Believe it or not folks, I’m not the end all be all when it comes to the world of music, and sometimes I get busy and unmentioned mentionables slip through the cracks of my well lotioned hands. So without further ado, an entry written EXCLUSIVELY for iKeish by Chicagos own…Kandice Eubanks.

Separately each of those three words evoke feelings of great passion, conflict and joy. Together they represent Johnta Austin’s contribution to the resurrection of R&B (the real kind). To some his name may seem familiar. He’s been featured on songs with Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri and T-Pain. You may have even seen him in the “I need a girl” video with Trey Songz (because he produced it). Johnta Austin is the man behind all the songs you find yourself singing at the top of your lungs at any given stoplight around the world. He is the man behind such classics as Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together”, Mary J. Blige’s “Be without you”, Trey Songz “Cant help but wait”, just to name a few. With LSR Johnta is stepping into the forefront to showcase his vocal abilities for the world. With the first single “Close Your Eyes” he takes his female listeners to a fantasy land where your dreams come true. His fans have been anxiously waiting for the release of his album. Oh what a feeling, Born Again and my personal favorite 15 minutes will leave you breathless and wanting more. LSR is not for the faint of heart….Captain 1545 is ready for take off. Stay tuned.
