Just when you thought he had done it all. Well, done all that he could do, Mr. Carter decided to write a book. The book entitled “Decoded” will focus on three points:
- Hip-Hop lyrics are poetry if you look at them closely enough.
- The story of Hov’s generation, to show the context for the choices that were made at a violent and chaotic crossroads in recent history.
- How hip-hop created a way to take a very specific and powerful and turn it into a story that everyone in the world could relate to.
The book is set to release November 16th. The cover will feature Andy Warhols 1984 “Rorschach” (pictured above)
Being the Jay Z fan that I am, I am excited about the upcoming book, I’m sure it will be that of epic proportions the man never does anything that is mediocre (matter of opinion) looking forward to this one Hov.
This isn’t a new song, it’s about a month old now, but I like what he’s saying, especially in the beginning of the track.
