Big K.R.I.T. ~ Good Foot

I’m not one on comparisons, I try really hard not to do it because someone always loses, but I absolutely have to admit how much Big K.R.I.T. reminds me of the late Pimp C, the style of rapping is similar though they don’t rap about the same things, the two artists still parallel in a major fashion. Anyway, this is a new song off of the upcoming Ashley Outrageous mixtape.

Juicy J + Wale + Diamond = Hit It From Back

It’s exactly what you think it is, a song about hitting it from the back O_o. Due to the fact that Juicy J added Wale to the track it became a little more “romantic” than it originally might have been. This is just my opinion because I’m sort of fond of Wale’s music in general. Atlanta‘s own Diamond is also featured on this track, it’s a very mismatched trio, but somehow they make it work for this song.  I’m not going to front, I plan to put it to good use.

Before you get more outta of me, I need to get inside of you… ~Wale~

He damn near had a heart attack, like twitter he follow back… ~Diamond~

Long as she fuckable, I don’t care if she that fine… ~Juicy J~

Who is Pac Div and why are they rapping “Your Fucking Song”?

A California based group that I have apparently ignored for the past 5 years, this name is new to me, and I kind of feel bad about it. Its okay though “Better late than never” I always say, in fact I made that saying up and would greatly appreciate my props for it.

Digressing…

New music off of the upcoming mixtape called “Mania” this track is called “Your Fucking Song”. The chorus is simplistic as hell, however the actual lyrics aren’t bad at all, not what I’m used to hearing from California in this day and age. I mean, don’t get too excited this isn’t the new and improved NWA at ALL, nowhere close. I think the days of gangsta rap died with all of my favorite rappers. Take a listen…

“I pray to the Based God, & then I pray to the Regular God”

What is #Based?

This is a twitter question that never seems to get answered no one is quite sure aside from a few of us #BASED members (yes, I said us…I’m sorry, Lil B is like a parasite, he gets in and wont leave.) This interview with Vice TV shows Lil B explaining the entire #BASED movement.

Shout out to missinfo.tv for the scoop :o )

FYI: I’m not so based that I don’t pray to the original God. I just like to cook.

Kanye West ~ Eyes Closed

A jewel that didn’t make it on “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Left on the studio floor like a dream deferred only to be picked up, dusted off and set on a fireplace. Okay, maybe not so much. The hook repeats:

I sold my soul to the devil that’s a crappy deal, least it came with a few toys like a happy meal”

I love how my Uncle Kanye pretty much keeps the rumor mills turning, when Jay Z ignores it so nobly, I can count on Kanye to “fuck” with them. Though I believe that MBDTF is perfect as is, this could have made it even better. I always prefer to hear Ye’ on a track by himself, he shines so damn brightly. This track is simplified when it comes to the beat, as always Kanye gives a look into his psyche, and I take a peak every chance I get.

Snoop Dogg + Wiz Khalifa = That Good

So last night while I was sniffing coke O_0, I came across this track by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa entitled “That Good”. Supposedly this is a hit from their upcoming movie set to drop on 4/20 of this year. Most of you potheads understand the significance of this day. This track isn’t anything to write home about though it may impress a few. I’m more excited to see what the movie will be about, I can’t imagine Snoop Dogg in yet another film. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that he’s a less than mediocre actor, but apparently it works for someone, it’s also hard to imagine Wiz in a movie, but if it’s loosely based on Cheech and Chong both rappers/actors should be cool playing those parts.

We Know Bun B: The Original OG

One half of the best southern rap duo released a mixtape entitled We Know Bun B: The Original OG.

A title most fitting for the rapper, the 37-year-old fellow piscean delivers on this mixtape as he always has. Pimp C is a missing factor in the equation but Bun has always been able to hold his own, this was proven when Pimp did that time and Bun was basically left to hold down the fort alone. The first track on the mixtape entitled “The Story” pretty much chronicles the era of UGK, it sets the scene for the rest of the album, which includes both old and new hits.

Kanye West SUPER Sneak Peak of All of the Lights Video

I havent blogged in a while so the need to confess my love for my Uncle Kanye has not come up, well until now. This is the making of a scene from the upcoming video which I cannot wait to see. I’m sure this will be snatched off of YouTube soon so get your feel of it. People always wonder why I never get drunk, well its truly because I spaz like Kanye, I’m serious. Some of my best friends know that Uncle Kanye and my dance moves are similar if not the same.

It looks terrible but its fun to do, don’t be mad because you can’t kill it like us. I feel like taking a couple of shots of patron right now just so I can do it. Check it out…

Wiz Khalifa Teaches You How To Fly

Besides smoking kush Wiz gives a look into what he considers flying. This track is slightly pop. I’m not sure where he’s going with his style of rap or if he plans to be multifaceted which never truly hurt anyone. In my own opinion I think that a fan base should be built and solid before dabbling into another type of music, but who am I but a blogger? I make pennies doing this shit. Okay, not really, call me what you want just don’t call me broke.

Anyway, comments usually don’t matter to me but you opinions on this track are welcome. I am a fan of Wiz, I’ve been one since the mixtape days before the 106 & Park debuts. What do you think?

Lil Wayne ~ One Night Only

I’m not too geeked about the Carter III, not right now. After 6’7 and this track, I’m just kind of lukewarm on what Wayne has to offer. That is not to say I won’t purchase the album, because I most certainly will, but so far none of the singles have done anything for me, besides if I’m not mistaking this is a fairly old track. I like the sample on this one though, not much more than that.
